I would like for you to think about the type of "sculpture" you would like to make and come to class nest week with an idea of where you are headed and some of the "found artifacts" that you will be using. I look forward to seeing you and your ideas in class next week!
Art II Assignments
Our nest assignment will focus on the creation of art from items that are generally considered worthless. This type of "junk art" will expand on the ideas we learned about in our last three dimensional sculpture unit. Take a walk around your neighborhood; keeping an eye out for anything that has been discarded that you find interesting. Use your sketchbooks to make some quick drafts of your ideas.
